If you look at the Main board , there is a small glass fuse, cant remember the ampage 1.5a i think. Check to see if it’s blow, any motorfactors will have one

Just checked its OK as well, we replaced the 3amp fuses in plug and they blow, put a 10amp fuse into the plug and then the 2 on side of machine blow, is there any Engineers in Northern Ireland that would work on them that you know of Ian?

Hi Tim, it’s the power supply, same thing happened to me a couple of months ago – Spandex/Gerber job unfortunately – not cheap.

The power supplies are from Delton power supply in the States. There is someone in the States (California) but I can not remember the name that rebuilds them.

Might be a bit late now….
Where the power lead goes into the printer, there is a small fuse there, is this the one you are talking about?
I got a couple from Maplins..

we had swapped out power unit twice, once with Spandex UK and that did cost (this was before my time there) and then again but this time my MD’s uncle who is an electronics engineer fixed it, pretty much replacing all the parts for a quick fix.
I have to admit, it isn’t an easy thing to fix as you might find Spandex are more interested in selling you a new machine.

Spandex were brilliant but you will have to wait, mine took two weeks to be fixed, unless you have a maintenance contract.
