should not say this really but blast it with a heat gun and laminate it only on large valuable stuff do i play by the rules.

Blast it with a heat gun but from the back as this will stop a skin on the front from hardening and trapping gas.

black is a difficult one to chance with something like this. personally… ide just leave it to the next morning at earliest. im saying that knowing your job is very urgent, but should it buckle and wrinkle in the laminator due to the way the vinyl is reactibng to the ink, you could be back to square one and out!

dont get me wrong, ive chance the odd job. but its flat panel work, very little ink coverage, but still printed in the morning and laminated later in the afternoon. so 6-8 hours later.

if its short term like you say, ide not laminate it at all. leave it to out gas "hanging up" with the shortest length being the drop. when you come in next day apply application tape and fit. job done!

Thanks for the replies guys. I got the chance to leave it till the next morning only to find the diesel had froze in the lorry and I couldnt get it into the work shop! Had to do it outside under a tree that kept dropping snow in behind the print! Absolute mess but done will have to do until I get it in for the a proper make over!!

After the winter we just had I will definitely be spray insulating my tin in the workshop and installing new insulated roller doors etc the first chance I get.
