garment printing: rugbydubs
Posted by Carrie Brown on June 1, 2004 at 10:28 amSorry to bore you now ……. I’m just going through some of our older pics & thought Id share 😀
Wizard wonky beetle was one of the companies first vehicle graphics job – all vinyl, with a printed iamge – wizard has the guys head super imposed on the cartoon 😆
We also do the garment printing – small runs only – cut garment film heat pressed. Full colour was printed onto garment film using our pc600.

I can’t wait until I get a few more of these jobs. I think it’s great your sharing, it puts meat on the bones of what other sign businesses are doing.
One quick question – I don’t recognise the swing sign in the picture, anychance of telling us who supplied it?Cheers Pete

I tried to post on this thread earlier, but it wouldn’t let me!
Honest, I wasn’t gonna mention vibration or Rob’s bum.
All I said was
GOOD WORK GUYS!

jill… 😳 as always 😆
carrie/steven great work.. lots of variety and all done well!
the sing sign is one we did allot of until about end of last year. cant remember why we stopped selling them 😕 anyway.. we sold lots of these.. more so for indoor markets, shopping malls etc.quote :We also do the garment printing – small runs only – cut garment film heat pressed. Full colour was printed onto garment film using our pc600.
ok, i am a bit late with thise one, as i dont have our machine anymore but may help others that read it.. what is the material you buy in to print and cut in the pc600? i know the stuff we would cut and heat press but the one for printing and cut.. 😕 im guessing its from Xpress but name slips me..
also would you use the thermal or resin ribbons?great stuff, and like ian has said, you certainly are not boring us.. we love seeing each others work.. bring it on! 😛 😆 😉

Thanks Pete 😀 we are more than happy to share our work, we think the same as you …. its good to know what others are producing. I think we get that swing sign from grafityp ?? Its a nice sign, great finish & we’ve sold quite a few of them in the past. Not the cheapest sign on the market but not all customers want the cheapest and as you havent really seen this design elsewhere yet 😀
Jill 😆 😆 Are you sure that there wasn’t even the slightest, smallest, teeniest thought of rob, thongs, vibrations??? 😆 😉 & thanks 😀

Blimey 😮 😮 I didn’t know you did A boards!! 😮 😮

Dewi you nut 😀 😉 😆
Rob 😀 Thanks for your comments as always!!
The garment films are bought from Victory, to be honest we get all our garment marking products from them & grafityp, sometimes. Its called hot print & is available in white for appliaction onto dark garments & clear for application onto white garments.
There is a bit of a knack to applying the full colour prints which are printed onto the white printing film; Apply clear application tape over the print & then place teflon or equivelant paper on top so the print is sandwhiched in between, then press …… if you dont do this and use standard application tape (as some suppliers have previously told us to do 🙄 ) the tacking tape will lift some of the ink, reducing the quality of the end print – looks grainy 😕
The hot print clear; you print & cut reverse, you do not need tacking tape as it has its own carrier.
We use the standard resin cartridges as supplied standard for the pc600.
Any other info required by anyone, please ask away 😀
