• G20 Protesters

I’m a bit confused as to what the G20 protesters are protesting about in London today?

Is it climate change, The War in Iraq, Financial Markets meltdown, or do they just want an increase in wages/benefits.

I wonder, do the protesters themselves know what they’re there to protest about 😕

i would expect there’s a small hardcore group who know what they want to achieve.

looking at the interviews of protesters on yesterdays news i reckon 95% don’t know what they’re truly there for, each for their own reasons i expect, and some because they’ve nothing better to do that interfere in things they’ll never understand.

then there’s the other 4% just out to cause trouble, they’ll be the same idiots attacking the fox hunters, anglers, white animal breeders / testers, and anyone else they don’t agree with. a bunch of hooligans who are no better than those they condemn.

the Mrs parents used to host one of the larger hunts around here, the protesters strung cheese wire across fences and gate-ways, abused riders (most of whom are just out for a ride and don’t partake in the actual killing of a fox (should one be found) and were generally menacing. two horses were shot due to severe throat / neck injuries, several riders hurt, yet all that was reported was a farmer chasing them back through a gate with a range rover and the shooting of two injured horses, no mention of how they were hurt.

these same yobs & thugs are the anti everything brigade. they bring no good to the world and are nothing but a drain on society. they’ll be there at G20, though they probably don’t know what G20 actually is.

    hunt an anti!

    sorry, off soap box now.

Well I reckon all these millions of protesters will converge on London tomorrow then just before 12am there’ll be a news announcement saying "April Fool – we’re not really having a G20 conference in London today"

Well looks like we have kick off will any players be sent off to Jail, The city looks like a war is ready to be battled, you would think that it would never be let to come to this in this day and age, Many will get hurt for just being in the wrong place at the wrong time 🙁 I do hope not.

this is where armed police come in handy,

    people in balaclavas? shoot em,
    people throwing missiles? shoot em,
    people committing arson? shoot em,
people complaining of police brutality while hurling missiles? beat em to the ground with rifle butts and then shoot em,

job jobbed. peaceful protesting would be resumed.

i know a few coppers, all have had leave cancelled, one was due to fly out on family hols yesterday, he is 6’5" and 18st of solid angry muscle, now on the front line…. i wouldn’t want to be the one getting too close trying to smack his riot shield!

It was on the news all afternoon yesterday.
I hope they don’t have another protest the day I land in London.
    (Selfish of me, huh!)

Don’t you worry Jill, they will be long gone, must be very frightening to be a bystander anywhere near that lot,
I’m up there next week so will check the coast is clear for you 🙂

Hugh I have to agree with you mate, it’s the same ohl’s same ohl’s.

The hard core with nothing better to do but just be intent on stirring up trouble.

Wait until they mention a new road is being built and out they will all crawl again.
