This ones been around for years, unfortunately it goes to show some businesses can get by without a decent sign ๐Ÿ™ and he’s good at his job and cheap too ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ . Who did it? not me, but just in the bottom left hand corner there’s a phone number, I think it starts 013677 ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜†

You are all wrong , this job was done on a GBP500k zund flash cured uv 3d printer , laser cut and applied to yellow carbon fibre encapsulated aerospace board. The trick was to get that natural hand lettered look , and thus it was fed thru a laser guided 3d stereo lithography machine.
Notice the artefacts in the look ahead read STL file code .
Im sure I saw Titmarsh and “sidewindee Charlie” using the latest robaot controled plasma welder fitting it to the truck on one of the ground force episodes.
Amazing how technology has advanced signmaking!!!

Steve – you brightened my day!…

Just done a two-vehicle, 8.5 hours stood-on-cold-concrete sort of a day – came in had a cup o’ tea, sat down logged on and read this – laughed out loud and me’ aches and pains didn’t seem so bad! ๐Ÿ˜€

    thanks for that!

    more soon

Inspiration and aspiration is what this board gives me.

I just know that with a lot of dedication, capital investment
and a few years experiance under my belt that I’ll be knocking
out quality stuff like this without to much perspiration.

I glanced at this picture again Steve and disregarding the truly amazing artwork; I noticed that the vehicle has only one break light, the offside light cluster has the indicator section missing altogether and a small furry animal appears to be hitching a ride. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I know a blind eye seems to be turned to the employment of illegals out there on the fens, but are these vehicle defects and the carriage of stowaways allowed too (?) ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜†

Well spotted Alan after reading your post
I phoned Mr Butterwick and inquired as to why the small fury like creature had come to be perched on his vehicle his reply was quite logical and explained his taste in bespoke signage.

After realising he had backed into a five bar gate and broke his indicator he searched high and low for an item suitably coloured to give the impression of a complete tail light his intention was to avoid attracting unwanted attention and foil the local constabulary. the end result was a orange coloured hamster that he had wired into the loom he stated that the little fellow lifted its head and fully synchronised with the fully functional front indicator when activated. He did add that since installing the new tail light business had dropped of a little and this might have been due to the lack of attention his sign was getting, he’s contacting Renaldo @ Team Satchi to organise a think tank for next week.

I wonder if Mr Butterwick is aware that his choice of sign has attracted so much interest? Maybe the sign has been designed to distract from the small rodent hiding behind the tail light. I mean with Blunkett tightening up on immigration, who knows what lengths rodent smugglers will go to just to earn a quick buck!

    Cheers, Dewi
