    a while back someone asked the boards if we know of any “FROSTED PERSPEX” suppliers.. i think i gave a name out but wasnt sure. anyway..
    while reading an old mag i came across the old advert i had in mind & thought ide post the details here just for future reference of anyone doing a search on this site for it.

    the frosted pespex (semi-transparent,looks simular to glass etch) comes in 12 colours. the company is called Vulcascot Ltd 01293 560130

    …Robert – Amari also do a range of this ‘frosted acrylic’…the one I like, a kind of frosted minty green colour, os called ‘Satin Ice’ and though this and many of the range are rarely available ex-stock in anything other than full (very expensive) sheets…

    Thank you for the info mike & Robert, I believe it was us looking for the acrylic sheeting. It was to make some lettering, we did come across another way to do this. If you have 3 pieces of glass and shatter one piece and then sandwich it between the two other pieces of glass (UV Glued), you can then cut lettering out of it. This produces quite an interesting effect also.

    Hi, We have our own blast unit and shot blast glass in house…. slightly cheaper I think than purchasing ready mades!
