What is the one thing you’d like to do before you die?

Apart from the totally unrealistic night with Megan Fox or see Newcastle United ever win a cup, I reckon it would be go deep, deep under the sea in a submarine….I’ve always had a fascination for odd sea creatures

    whats your one thing?

I’d like to do a bungee jump with the absolute guarantee I’d – a) not hit the floor before the tension cuts in, b) not have the elastic snap or not be attached properly, and most, most important c) not wet myself.

    1 – Go in a helicopter
2 – Make the wife happy

At least one of them is achievable 🙄

As a child I had this burning ambition to see the Statue of Liberty in New York. I imagined it to be much bigger than it actually is. I’m sure I will go one day.

My other burning ambition was to see a Saturn five moon rocket which I have now seen a couple of times and I have to confess it wasn’t as large as I had imagined but perhaps that’s because it’s on display on it’s side. I think it would be much more impressive to display it standing up

nice friday night topic glenn 😀

mines would be driving a fast road car (bugatti or an aston martin) on the straight roads from the top of america to the bottom, then it probably would be the bestest buzz ever so i would need to drive back up again 😀

this will probably change after a couple of glasses of vino :lol1: :lol1:

    good one mate… :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

me, well… difficult really… when I am gone I want to remembered, missed and if possible respected. First on the list of that has to be by my family and children. anything else is a bonus….

what I want to do before I die? to make my parents and family proud!
I have a great family already and I have two beautiful daughters. nothing makes me happier to see them happy and all things going to plan… financially stable in years to come.

as for me personally… anyone that really knows me as a person will know I live my life as hard as I can and want to enjoy myself and experience all I can in the short time we have.

I reckon you should die happy Rob – you may not realise it now – but I expect you have already achieved these goals 😀

I have done quite a few things and reached most of my ambitions except the making money bit. If I was given one last wish it would be to have a go in the Vomit Comet and experiance weightlessness. I have had a very small taste of negative and positive G’s on a flight in a light aircraft but would like to go the whole hog!

what i want to do before I die ….

well build my house! still behind with that but I got to start next year.

Also im still single! oh dear

I was thinking about my funeral and who would turn up, i mean most of my friends now are mainly online or throughout the country, I was wondering if someone would upload a video of it instead of turning up, an online funeral and as we live in a more ‘online’ lifestyle with facebook and twitter then we meet allsorts of people who never will know where you live lol

I finally thought of something I’d like to see!
    Hadrian’s Wall.
(probably boring if you live near it)
There’s a show on TV just now about it and it seems quite interesting.

Ah, right, I understand now. 😀

I missed that thread, but I would say that you all left my house very clean and tidy, so it couldn’t have been much of a party. 😀

Yes Jill, we’re home now. I don’t think that Alamo were best pleased when they saw that we’d put over two thousand miles on their nice shiny Lincoln. 😀

The Grand Ole Opry was a great night and, even if they don’t like Country music I would recommend anybody to go. It’s worth it just for the spectacle.

The Smithsonian Air and Space Museum was unbelievable. The amount of historic machinery they have in there, from the Wright Flyer up to an Apollo capsule and moon lander really needs to be seen. Even Jenny was impressed, especially when she got to touch a bit of moon rock. My only regret was that we didn’t have time to go to their second site out of town where they have the Enola Gay. I’d really like to see that but, hey, that’s a good excuse to go back again.

Oh, yes, you can tell Bill he got me hooked on Yeungling, and I hardly drank any other beer for the rest of the trip. 😀

Bill will be drinking plenty of Yeungling this weekend, he is having a pig roast at his girlfriend’s grandparents’ place along the river.
Glad you are back home safe and had a great time.
