seen a lot of these vids recently, gonna try and stick to the bluetoth headset as much as poss, well, except in the street, i’d rather a fried brain than look a d#ck!!

tis worrying though, when i was a service engineer, i’d be doing around 40k a year in the van, at least 1/3rd f the time i was on the phone (before the ban) helping customers, workshop calling with more jobs etc, even occasionally (when parked) using two phones at once when answering a work call while on a private call,

also, have you ever noticed how hot your ear gets after 20 mins chatting on a mobile?

    scary huh?

chris evans did similar live on radio 1. from what i heard he used only two mobiles and faced them into each other and one phoned the other. he then placed an egg between them and left them there while he carried on with his show. i dont know how long he left them like that but it wasnt a great deal of time. certainly not hours on end as his slot only lasts a few hours. anyway… after a bit he cracked the egg open and part of the egg liquid had solidified.
he said if i am faking this then let ANY mobile phone company sue me for it. i am openly doing this on air…
he carried on saying that many hand sets do not just get renewed due to newer models, but because they get struck off for too much radiation or whatever being leaked from them…
he said he doubts he will ever stop using them because he would not be able to do business without one but will take new measures for hands free in his car etc

hugh, i dont think using the blue tooth gadget is going to stop it mate, is it not just the same as having the phone. its the hands free aspect of it thats the attraction to them. have to agree folk do look like prize donkeys with them in. ROB-COP sorta thing…

i had to go toa specialist that ended up booking me in for a brain scan due to pains in my head every time i used a mobile for any length of time.
at times i could taste my fillings and nerves up the side of my face seemed to harden or become very sensitive… i was told these are classic symtoms of over use of a mobile phone, even though o do not use them very much. just when i do im normally nattering for a bit.
anyway, i got the all clear but the specialist that i waited 6 months to see in scotland. told me the government gets too much money from the phone companies and tunrs a blind eye to all this. no phone company actually denies when cross examined, they just talk their way around it and leave the answer wide open. being told this from a specialist is a bit worrying. he said i waited so long because of the massive increase in tumours and the like since mobile phones came about.
anyway im waffling now… ill shut up. :lol1:

you were quite right to question the problems in relation to using your mobile phone rob…my young cousin has had half her face cut away, on the side she used her mobile constantly…..when the suggestions were put to the doctors they just shooshed her away and said dont be silly 😕

Never mind mobile phones a much bigger scandal and cover up is the use of mercury amalgam fillings in dentistry!

For generations now dentists have been poisoning their patients by the use of mercury in the fillings they use. Up until a few years ago this was never questioned even though we have known for over 100 years now that mercury is a poison. However, mercury fillings have been standard practice for so long it would be an enormous undertaking for the medical establishment to hold up their hands and say – Sorry guys – but we’ve been poisinong you all these years. That’s why you all suffer from modern "so called" stress related mental illness – in fact it’s all down to mercury poisoning.

Imagine the lawsuits if this was ever conceded as fact. The NHS would be bankrupted due to the large number of law suits.

Ever wondered why private dentists only offer white fillings? It’s not for cosmetic purposes it’s because they don’t want to be sued in years to come.

Next – have you ever wondered why NHS dentistry has become such a shambols in the UK. It’s because the NHS is slowly removing dentistry from its portfolio of care so that in years to come they can finally come clean and ban mercury fillings without fear of bankrupting the NHS.

    I sense a conspiracy

Phil you are the father of conspiracy,
Mercury is not a poison, mercuric oxide is,
mercury can do much harm if swallowed though, in its pure liquid form, its quite dense, and will work its way through your gut, and eventually end up in your feet, it will either give you gout, (normally blamed on uric acid) or turn you into one of those dolls that cant be knocked over.

Only another hour and it will be Friday….

    I agree Peter.

We’ve had the science glass at my son school debunk this as a school experiment.

The conclusion they came to was that either the phones had been tampered with, or it was ‘setup’. They couldn’t reproduce the result at all.

I think your money is safe.

    Right the first time Lynn.

Cars dpn’t do much for me, I’d rather spend the money on a new bike, but I saw a picture of the Chrysler and liked it, we had had an excellent year, and I found a good deal whereby I could lease it for a year, at £330 per month, so thought I’d treat myself.

I wouldn’t normally lease anything but, at that price, it was cheaper than buying one because it will have lost more in depreciation than it has cost me in payments. After tax relief the net cost to me made it a very affordable option.

If I wanted another Chrysler, the same company have offered me one, but a saloon this time, for £30 per month less. £299.00 per month but, fun though it’s been, it’s time for a change.

Well Peter, despite the bluster, the builders have finallly departed, so I’m cleaning up the mess they left behind in my garage. Hoovering, mopping, and painting the floor is the order of the day tomorrow. 🙁

Got to be done though, and I’ll feel better when it’s finished.

Let’s look at the positives from the mobile phone thingy

Imagine your in a rush to work and you’ve got no time to toast your bread….you could take your bread with you and toast it on the bus

Or someone (on the very rare occasion) makes you a cuppa while your slapping up the vinyl….. you could keep it nice ‘n’ hot

    The possibilities are endless
……….Oh! instead of Mercury Fillings we could go blue tooth!
