Free to a good home. Or even a not so good one. 😀

It’s a mixed bag of all sorts of widths, grades, ages, colours etc etc etc., so don’t ask me what’s there, just come and collect it before Saturday because it’ll be in the skip on Monday. 😀

If only you were just round the corner! Do you get the table and cutting mat
thrown in with the vinyl 😉

‘Fraid not Dan. But on the bright side, the pile of vinyl keeps getting bigger. 😀

We’ve got the builders in, knocking a door through to the next workshop, so everything is mayhem here. Can’t get on with much work because most of my office stuff is under dust sheets. At least the network is still running so I can do a little bit remotely.

Anyway, we’re taking the opportunity to have a good clear out in the workshop and anything we can’t envisage a use for in the fairly near future has got to go to make room for more immediate requirements.

We do very few signs, and those we do make these days tend to be plate and post, or aluminium tray things that we can just buy in as we need them, so I’m seriously considering getting rid of all the sheet material as well.

I can just see a fleet of old Transits, Trafics, Mercs etc. heading in the direction of Corby from all corners of the UK – Most signmakers love a bargain especially anything that’s free :lol1: :lol1:

We’ll I’d have been there by now John but I’m stuck in a huge Traffic Jam on the M74 just North of Carlisle – I’m surrounded by Signmakers vans of all shapes and sizes as far as the eye can see. Seems like signmakers from all over Scotland had the same idea as me 😕

It’s beginning to really kick off now….There’s a police helicopter hovering overhead with a loudhailer instructing us all to remain in our vehicles. Rumour has it about a half mile further south they’ve started rioting – one or two police cars have already been set alight as frantic signmakers riot and fight amongst themselves to be the first to get to Corby 😕

    I reckon it’s a shower cap with a cuddly toy in it! I could be wrong…… (?)

Good guess Dan. It’s a fluffy bag of some sort, containing a cuddly toy.

That’s the price we pay for employing females. :peek:

John, just a quick thank you – THANK YOU, we’ll have some very happy kids using this stuff over the next few months.

    Many thanks

It was my pleasure Jason. I’m just glad it went to a good home instead of being skipped.

We used to give offcuts to the village school here, but in recent years that’s become more difficult. They cite health and safety, but I suspect that it’s more to do with being wary of unknown adults visiting the school. That wasn’t a problem previously, but the staff have all changed and I don’t know any of them personally any more. It’s a shame, but I suppose they are right to be careful.

I’m just sorry that our hospitality wasn’t of the finest, but Peter and myself were running around trying to get all the loose ends tied up before rushing off to catch our ferry. Hopefully I can make up for that next time, or maybe buy you a beer at SignUK.

Sounds good John, we’ve already slit a load of it up to go through robo cutters so its on its way.

    Regards

    Jason
