Posted by David Lowery on April 1, 2011 at 7:32 amI think some on the boards will have had the email re: free £100 vehicle outline disc from Spandex if you pre-register to visit their stand at Sign & Digital 😀
Here is the link for those going to the show but have not received the invite:

A few years ago they were giving £200 credit to anybody who signed up to a new account, the catch is if you already a customer I don’t think you qualify, well you didn’t when I got it.
So if you are not a customer then it could be a nice bonus.
cheers

I checked the small print Warren and it is just for visiting their stand plus you get a chance to win a Mutoh Wide Format Printer worth £11,000
😀 -
I got an email about this a few days a go….so not an April Fool.

:lol1: oh well… shouldnt be a big deal if attending. 😀
I have the Impact CD anyway, would be amazed if the spandex one was as upto date and more accurate than the Impact one. 😀

I assumed we would have to go to the show to collect – which I’m not.. hence the offer to take it off you Dave if you are not using it.. bit of a waste if not being used..
-
i not seen that disc for ages… nor the one from before
-
Gavin you could always buy one from impact I think it’s about £99.00 money well spent.

Gavin it would have taken you as long as it took you to reply.

got my disc on Tuesday………seems to be quite a comprehensive vehicle outline disc…….cars, vans, hgv’s all in categories with a Microsoft Exel file of vehicle specifications for each file………but the outlines are not to scale (although they do have a vehicle length so it is simple enough to scale to full size)…..
certainly not a bad freebie.john

Couldn’t believe it when I got a call from my sister, she won the Valuejet in the Spandex draw. Don’t know if she got the outline disc though.
-
Picked up my disk from the stand and ‘networked’ a bit.
Looked at it briefly on Thursday, and it quite comprehensive and will get a good bit of use.
re: scaling. I didn’t bother checking – but is it 1:20?
For ‘free’ it’s a good investment…wonder how many will end up on fleabay?
