Hi Becky,

I downloaded the visual toolbox and when I run the “basic” version (which is free right?) it tells me “lost connection with the dongle”…… wonder what’s up with that?

I only down loaded it because it had that magic word “FREE”

I use signlab.
But I have just bought VMP from “Future” I think it cost £500 over here. I have been spending time over Christmas looking at this program. Its very good. Got loads of features that SL hasn`t.

You can obtain a free demo,(will not cut) then if you like it, you just ring up for the password, great thing about it, no dongle.

I’ll try that.

I also have a copy of vinyl express master and a copy of flexi sign. Just wanted to try the “free” software and see what it’s all about. I don’t use signmaking software to design in anyway, only for cutting so if a lesser version of software will….1) allow me to easily import my artwork without messing it up, and 2) alow me to cut by color…. then that may be all I need anyway.
