FREE operating system
Hi,
For all the TEC heads out in sign-land have a look at
http://www.puppylinux.org/ 95 mb download and runs off a cd or pen drive great for testing a system with no OS or a very quick way to connect to the net from a cd or pen.Word processor adobe ect ect all for free.
I have posted this through puppy interface.

i keep promising myself i’ll get into linux as my car / home mp3 player is basically a linux operated mini computer with a hard drive (empeg car), there’s virtually no parameters that can’t be adjusted or tweaked, but, it’s all beypnd me at the mo, i just load it up (which takes all night via usb) and plug it in!

You can run this on any pc stick the cd in and boot from it not affecting the installed os have a go. It has a browser email draw ect ect.

have downloaded it and will have a nose about, trouble is, unless you’re tech minded, most of what makes it so good it’s lost on 99% of us!
