  • For Sale: 4m x 2m CNC Router

    Hi All

We are selling a 4m x 2m CNC router. Full working order.

8 position linear auto tool changer, pop up alignment pins, 2x 5.5Kw vacuum bed, lots of spare tools, tool height sensor, dust extraction, 10HP spindle, Compressor, Syntec 6Mb controller, Vectric Aspire software. It has the shroud to go around the spindle, although its not fitted in the photos. 3-phase, Location Chorley, Lancs, PR7 1NH

We are selling as our Kongsberg table has now picked up the CNC work and we need the this space for a large hybrid printer.

Works really well – you can make single piece sign trays up to full 4m x 2m sheets of ACM. Very fast, very accurate and very big, we’ve used this for ACM, Acrylic sheet & block, polycarb, MDF, Ply, Foam, PVC (and I’m sure more beside). We’ve cut up to 180mm thick substrate but I think it will go to 200mm.

We’ve used it mostly for 2D and 2.5D work, although we’ve done some full 3D carved job and the results are really impressive. I will post some photos of work cut on the machine later today.

We don’t have the machine under a support contract as it hasn’t been necessary – it has just worked faultlessly. That said we can provide details of a company who can provide on-going support, ad-hoc support, spares, training etc. The same company can offer a decommission, transport and recommission service – they’ve estimated £2k (plus fork truck at your end), based on 100 mile radius from us. The latter would be subject to final distance.

Open to offers, price will be plus VAT.

    Please ask any questions.

    Cheers

    Dave

Hi John- we’re still deciding, have narrowed down my options and will update in due course. We do need to build a bigger print room so just getting everything ready in advance.

Hi Graham – highest offer above £16k + VAT (plus the move costs as described above to the support company), if someone got it for £16k they’d be getting a real bargain.

Hi Steff – 6-years approx, it’s been well looked after, and although we’ve done a huge amount of signage on it and it’s paid for itself many many times and lots of profit, that only equates to 1-2 hours a day running time at most. Very light use in comparison to its full capacity.

    Cheers

    Hi All

I’m listing the CNC on that auction site next week but would prefer to sell to someone on the boards, just to say I’m open to offers and will be dropping my minimum ‘reserve’ mentioned previously.

    Cheers

    Dave
