Our Roland VF2-640 & GR2-540 cutter are available to purchase.
The VF2 is configured CMYKOrGr, with the additional heater/drier unit installed, purchased from Signmaster Systems in April 2021. The GR2 facilitates print & cutting directly from Versaworks.
The separate cutter allows you to be cutting whilst continuing to print on the printer. It can also be run through a plugin for Illustrator as a stand-alone cutter for cad vinyl (although I’ve not used that as we have a Graphtec for that)
The GR2 also allows for perforated cuts (we do a fair amount of this for one customer)
Can’t argue about the vibrancy of the colours. With some of our larger customers looking for more environmental options, and with my old man retiring we’re looking at Latex options to speed up the processes.
