I have a client that wants a font in snell. I have a spandex gerber scientific program and it does not have the font in it. I have the font in a Corel program and when I copy paste into the Gerber font it is not recognised. Please can you help me on how to convert this into the Gerber program 😕

Your best bet is to type out the words in Corel, then export them as an EPS file. Make sure you click the convert text to curves option. Then you can import the EPS file into your Gerber software.

Thank you Barry for your help, but the gerber still does not want to cut the font, any other ideas 🙁

I can’t understand why Brians answer wouldn’t have worked. Converting to curves means the font lettering that was typed out would have been converted to a graphic, which in turn can be imported into your software just like any other vector graphic.

Try it again, it will work just like Brian has said – you must have done something wrong. Try “welding” your lettering to convert it into a graphic – then export as an .eps

If it’s not too late you can email the CDR file & I will export it so it will work.
