Folex laser sheets.
Posted by ian rankin on August 13, 2004 at 7:39 pmNik, reading a previous topic I see you use these type of sheet for making positives from a laser printer. Could you perhaps help me with the name of a supplier and rough idea of cost. I have a Panasonic laser and I would like to use it for this purpose.
Thanks in advance Ian Rankin

hi ian
they don’t guarantee the spray to work with every printer!! it works okay… with mine, it does blacken it a bit, but it might work better with yours !! 😛 good luck!!

I have been using the laser film for years.
Buy mine from
Colenso screen services, tel:01928 701356
matt translucent film, 75 mic
100 sheets of A4 – £18.07
100 sheets of A3 -£36.14Onced printed on get some white spirit and wipe over it with a damp cloth.
then dry it with a hair dryer.real dense black.
Also consider buying a A3 laser printer.

I use Autotype Delta film from Imaging Direct 01296 630111. They also do a film enhancer which when warmed makes the image very black, a bit pricey but is slightly more effective than white spirit. I use the film for litho printing work.
