hi again folks, hope this is posted in correct section.

im building a small workshop at the side of my house to build up the business from. i had placed a deposit on a unit but upon the birth of my son i decided to loose the deposit as working full time then going to unit would mean id miss out on his early months.

anyway i have around 5 x 2 metres within that space i need a workbench for taping up weeding etc. have any you wonderfull people got a folding bench, stowaway type of thing that you could recommend or indeed perhaps made your own.

so basicly im asking for your work bench details 🙂

    hope this makes sense david!

HI DAVID, for on site work we bought a 3meter folding wall paper pasteing table its quick and easy to open up and is small to store or transport or what about a lenght of kitchen type worktop mounted to the wall with some hinges and two tempoary outer legs when its in use and fold it back against the wall when not in use.

If space is tight and you want a quick and easy fix then what about getting a 20-25mm sheet of plywood with 4 hinges and screw to the wall. when lifted flat to the wall its held secure with a latch or two. when folded down into a table position its held by cable or chain or or drop down legs on hinges also?

When I was working in my front room I had trestles that went over the sofa and a mdf sheet to which I bolted on two arms for a pole on which I put on the application paper.
