• Foamex lightboxes

I need to find a trade supplier that can manufacture foamex lightboxes for fast food outlets, interior use only.

Any ideas would be gratefully received! May even end up making them ourselves!!!

Foamex? Wouldn’t heat be an issue?

In any case, what do you mean by lightbox? Can you give us some more details, as I do know a company who can make almost anything from plastic.

They are to display the menu’s above the counter, etc. Heat not an issue -we have installed 100’s. Foamex because they are cheaper and lighter than anything else. We have a company at present but they are not consistent.

I know a local company who fabricate all sorts of things. You could give them a try. Advent Plastics 01933 224716 based in Wellingborough

i guess if heat isnt an issue they should be ok, but i recon will look pretty grubby after a bit. foamex tends to hold dirt in its grain… which i thought would be an issue in a food place.
im guessing your talking 10mm foamex? anything thinner would look a bit… well… loose if thats how to discribe it 😕
if 10mm foamex and the box isnt that big ide imagine they would be easily made in house. just cut sections to size, glue, fix in some geartrays and bulbs. perspex face and some L-shaped angle to hold it in place. job done…
