• .fmv file extension

Does anyone know the program used to open or view these file types?
Windows recons it’s corel draw, but it wouldn’t open or import it.
I’m using a PC, but can’t clarify if the file was done on a mac.

    Any help greatly appreciated..

Try to open the file with NotePad.
There will probably be some readable text giving a clue as the the program that created it.
But, then again, it might be all binary gibberish.

FMV is listed in the Corel Draw (V12) import file type box as Frame Vector Metafile. It may be importable rather than openable how well it works is another question.

Thanks for all the replys guys!

I tried notepad (just garbled binary), tried to import and open the file in Corel (v.11) and got nowhere, i also tried changing the extension to EPS + AI + FH, all to no avail 😥

I asked the customer to contact his “designer” and resave the file in a more suitable format, however, he’s moved away, and thats the only copy he’s got blah, blah, blah…

    I’ll keep you’s posted…

    Thanks
