    Hello all,
I have been asked to flood coat an aluminium tailgate which has been repaired with body filler, are there any problems I should be aware of with regard to adhesion?

    Thanks for looking

spray the filler with quick dry clear laquer to seal it. Unsealed, it will not stick properly and will fail sooner rather than later…

not sure Jeremy, not used frog juice for years. I’d use a clear laquer myself. Frog juice is water based?… really only designed for coating vinyls and flexible materials, not sure it would stick to bog….. worth a try I guess….

I’m tending to share your doubt and will opt for the auto laquer.

    Thanks for your help.
