    Hi all

Just about to do a sign, s/s built ups with letters around 250mm high, aiming to put Ashbys flex Led’s in rear for halo lighting.

My question is, because the letters are not huge and and of a thin font, will the flat spots where the fixing brackets are on the letters notice greatly,as the flex Led’s will be broken by a 15mm space.

I guess it’s something you can’t avoid but am concerned as to the effect when lit.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Hi Martin
the fixing brackets, do you mean the stand offs or the back tray brackets? if stand offs we usually use clear acrylic tubing maybe 12mm diameter on smaller letters, and put the fixing through it. and for the brackets for the tray back to fit the letter on, we use clear acrylic "L" brackets we don’t get any flat spots.
Hope this is of help to you.

    Regards
    Chris
