I have to fix a sign up on top of the wall, The sign will be 10mm foamex exterior, and the sizes are 250cm wide, and 50cm high. The sign is to sit on top of a ledge on top of the wall.
I was thinking some kind of "L" shaped bracket screwed to the top face of the ledge and the screwed to the upright sign. One at either end, one or two in middle, what do you think. Or is there a better way, diagrams attached, very technical, lol

    Triangular brackets to brace it?

I recon it won’t last too long!!

What I’d suggest as it is ONLY 10mm PVC is that it’s gonna need some ‘beefing up’ to withstand freezing cold winds, rocks & chavs.

Either back it onto ply or frame it to give a bit more rigidity & support.
A couple of extra supports wouldn’t go amiss – I’d be using 4 (maybe 5) for this, and making them out of 50×25 box section welded to 100mm base plates with REALLY good penetration & a wee brace for added support – make it triangular. Fixed down with some expanding bolts / anchors. Rawl plugs aren’t up to this sort of thing!!
