I have printed some flags as a quick temporary measure but having seen how they have came out we want to print a lot more, between 50-100, for our own use and this is where the problem arises.

What material are you supposed to use for the ‘sleeve’ part of the flag and where do you get it? Also is it possible to buy any of it pre-shaped so that you don’t get any puckering?

Any help would be greatly appreciated because at the moment I don’t have a clue what to do!

hi we print our own feather flags and sew in-house the sleeve is all printed and marked out with the flag image and cut then sewn together, and the black edging which is elasticated and eliminates any puckering when the flag is put together, and for the life of me cannot remember the name of the flag material used (friday night) :lol1: what size of flag are you printing? for the amounts you require, you would be cheaper buying dye-sub flags from europe? just a thought 😀

I’m printing medium feather flags, I thought there was a specific material for making the sleeve but if the flag material is OK when stitched together I’ll just print my own. I was under the impression that something more hardwearing/substantial was used but I’ll give this method a go!
