  • Fixings for Aluminium composite to flatbed

Posted by James Boden on November 3, 2015 at 7:38 pm

    Hi there,

I’m applying some signage on alu composite to the side and rear of a transit flatbed this week. Could anyone recommend some suitable fixings ie. plastic rivets or something similar to attach this please?

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks Gary,

Ideally I’m after something like this. Do you stock anything similar? If not does anyone know where I can get hold of some?

My thoughts too. As you’re drilling holes anyway why not actually make it secure rather than just held in place with these notoriously weak plastic fittings.

Some 4.8 x 16mm pop (blind) rivets will work wonders. Can be drilled out if ever need removed.
