Fixing stand off letters to an acrylic panel

pilot hole in the acrylic using a sharp new bit, resting the sheet on a flat surface.
screw into the hole as usual for the female locator.
do not screw in too tight or fast or you may crack the acrylic.

do some test runs on an old off cut.
