Couldn’t you have got most of that from Brands of The World etc?

could have and the main logo but for £50 i could not be bothered to set up and cut and supply the vinyl, call me lazy but i would not set this job up on screen, cut it and weed it and supply the vinyl and there was loads of it for that amount

like you rich, these type of cars and graphics are not my thing.
but if you can buy the graphics cheaper than you can setup and cut yourself then i would too. i think its a bit like when we had our pc60, sure i could manage to print large graphics but cheaper and less hassle contacting a trade supplier to have it with me the next day. 😀

Is that £50 for the whole kit? 😮 What material was it? Any branding? Like yourself Richard, I wouldn’t have entertained cutting that lot out for £50! If I had to do something like that, it would have to be a £250 job easily. How much did you charge to put it all on for him?

Rich, I don’t want to tar all ebay sellers with the same brush as that wouldn’t be fair to those people who sell legitimately on ebay but I am not surprised at that sort of price at all. there is a guy not far from me that sells on ebay, not vinyl something else but he is claiming incapacity benefit because he is supposedly unable to work and spends all day doing stuff to sell on ebay. He is registered as a private seller rather than a business seller but his feedback is in the thousands and he is selling a couple of hundred plus items a month. He makes sure he is always cheaper than anyone else but he is still making a very tidy income from it.

I suppose its if you cant beat them, join them.

at least you got a fitting fee out of it.

but have a think for a minute.

I have had people ask me to fit stuff bought on ebay, I always decline or quote high, Not on a high horse here, but if you give them a high price, they try and fit it themselves, cock it up then realise why your price was reasonable.
I have no gripe with anyone making a living on ebay. on the dole or otherwise, it will most of the time come back and bite them anyway.

just that I wouldn’t support them.

I do see the point, it the boys in their bedrooms making this sort of stuff that makes it harder for us. In this case I quoted the job and he was happy to pay what i had asked, it was just a case of him looking on ebay for bits for the car when he came across these stickers when he told me I thought it would save me time and the messing about

Peter you need to be a bit more careful with your language, what you should have said was "when they install the supplied graphics incorrectly" :lol1:

Come on buck your ideas up 😛 😛

I’m of the same frame of mind here Peter. I’ve been asked before about fitting vinyls purchased on Ebay. I either refuse or price it high.
