• Finger post clip

I have a customer who wants a load of finger post type directional signs. He wants to supply the round posts and I will supply the lettered fingers. Does anybody here know of a clip that can screw to the fingers and go round the pole. Customer needs to change the direction of the pointers periodically. I’m thinking something like a jubilee clip but with tabs so it can be screwed to a flat panel.

Alan, you can get Y shaped brackets from signfix i think that has a couple of slots to take jubilee type screw banding, you can also get the banding and screw housings to cut to length yourself for various post diameters.

    does ashby not do them?

Wm Smith i’m sure do them…

i would try not to go down the road of self fabrication unless you have a decent system to make up. i did around 60 finger posts a few years back for a local council, had to be podwer coated and all else. best leaving it to those that do this daily. they arent that expensive and your getting them spot on.

Thanks Rob, Ashby were my first call, I’ll try Wm Smith. Running out of options but making them myself was never one of them 🙂

Alan hav a look at number 18 on the UKSB toolbar mate. "suppliers tab"

The toolbar is being re-indexed yet again, so ignore that there are only two in the finger branch of number 18… theres various from the list in the same catagory that do them. one that springs t mind is SignScape http://sign-making-supplies.co.uk/
