just got let out after being there all day, had to have the plate removed from my rist following breaking it 22 months ago when a ladder collapsed. Been in pain since because of tendons rubbing against plate. Any way make in all the way to the theartre just going to be knocked out when surgeon tells me they don’t have the screw driver to remove the plate and they have had to send to another hospital for it. So back to the ward for a further 2 hour wait.

Now hoping it will get bak to normal, its been a struggle applying vinyl for the past two years, problem is i will no longer have an excuse when i fu#k it up. 😀

There was a guy in B&Q this morning wearing a surgical mask & gown, he was wandering about the tool section. Now I know what he was doing in there :lol1: :lol1:

Hope you have a speedy recovery Kev, nothing worse than being in constant pain.

Just as well he didn’t apply the first rule of Engineering or DIY………..

    1. Always use the correct tool for the job.

    2. A hammer is the correct tool for any job.

    3. Anything can be used as a hammer.

    Martin Glen & phil
    thanks for the kind wishes
had it put in at the Queens but taken out at King Georges same consultant though. I found the Queens to be OK although did pick up infection 4 days into 7 day stay.
Pain is easing a bit now back at work just pottering around

    Many thanks guys
removed the dressings to have a look tonight & they have made more of a mess taking it out than they did putting it in. Pain is minimal now and i’m glad to say that when clenching my fist etc i can feel a great improvement now the tendons are not rubbing on the plate so i am hoping for a good result.
