I have just had a new computer.

I have transfered all the custome files over, but when I open them and change something. I cannot save.

I can go into the files propertys and change the setting to achive(or what ever it is) and then I can save ok.

But is there a way to change all of the files in one go, or do I have to do them all indivualy.

any help would be most greatful

Get a freeware program called CROA , go to tucows to get it , changes attributes like read only in a whole directory or drive

in ‘my computer’ or windows explorer, select all the files with the shift and/or Ctrl keys, right click on properties and deselect ‘read only’

A bit late with my reply, but i would have gone down this route, right click on the file select properties and un-check read only, click apply and select apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files.
