  • Feedback on Neolt trimmers / laminators please?

Posted by Stafford Cox on April 4, 2013 at 1:28 pm

    Afternoon all.

Neolt used to be quite a good name in the industry for trimmers and laminators and I would like to find out how many people are still running them. Can you tell me what model you have and what your experiences are? How the machine has performed, what your dealer, service rep has been like? As much info as you can.

    Thanks
    Stafford

Thanks guys. It seems that the Neolam 1650C is by far the most popular, followed by the odd 2050 here and there. The trimmers however, there are so many!! I’ve not seen two the same yet 🙂

Haha. That’s a good thing I suppose, the fact that people barely even realise the name of it must mean they’re pretty realiable. Not such a good thing for people wanting to sell parts for them 😉

you never guess what I got lol Neolam

I be honest with u staff mate… how the hell do u get spares for it as if I recal ours came from B&P as the price was good.

With regards the printer, i have read about them but never seen one.

    Would you believe it!! 🙂

Spares are still available direct from us via the manufacturer in Italy. Although it would seem that nobody needs spares as they’re too bloody reliable 🙄 :lol1:

Any other owners with good or bad reports on these?

I was at Neolt this week looking over the newly released range of laminators and trimmers. I also took a load of PDF manuals from them so if anybody needs one, get in touch and I can distribute them freely.

WOW Just checked and ours is a 1650c too! Run it for 8 years plus without any problems, used most 7 days a week.
    Great reliable machine.

Great news Andy!! It’s amazing how many of them are out there, particularly the 1650C. Most people say the same as you, they’re bullet proof!! Let me know if you need anything for it.

    Hi Stafford,

Came across this post looking for help with a Neolam 1650/C that I have gotten use of. I have no manual on how to work it and it is showing error A09. I’d be grateful for a copy of the appropriate manual and if you or anyone knows the fault then the solution would be handy!

    Cheers

Think you’ll get A09 when you switch on – maybe you have left the rollers down.
Move roller up, switch off and back on again and you should be OK.
Don’t leave rollers down when not in use or you will end up with flat spots on the rollers.
    Cheers

Hi Barry, I’m really sorry but I’ve only just seen your post!! I don’t get chance to get on here too often.

And good work Andy for getting this sorted.

Scrap that, the manual is too big to upload. Here’s an extract…..

    Many thanks Stafford,

We have a 1650c and never seen any instructions for it! this is sure to come in handy when we are stood swearing at it!!

Got ours given when we bought our Sagetech KK16, it had an error code so got Simon in from Laaco. He serviced it and it has run great ever since!

No problem at all. If you let me know your email address I can email the user manual to you.

I hope that’s not breaking forum rules? Apologies if so.

OK, no problem. Hopefully somebody can point us in the right direction. The manual is just over 5MB so too big to post on here.

    Hi Stafford,

Cannot PM you as you seem to have your settings set to not receive them.

I don’t think it’s you Gil, I don’t think I’m allowed to receive private messages as I’m a supplier. I’ll check the settings when I’m in front of my computer again.
