DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THERE IS A SUPPLIER IN THE UK WHERE I CAN GET A FONT SOFT WARE PACKAGE CALLED FAST FONTS,

IT COMES WITH 6 CD-ROMS AND HAS FULL COLOUR FONTS AND BACK GROUNDS SIMULAR TO THE ONES THAT YOU GET FOR THE GERBER EDGE,

I KNOW THAT THERE IS A SIGN WEBSITE IN THE U. S. THAT CAN SUPPLY IT BUT I WAS THINKING THAT THERE MIGHT BE A SUPPLIER OVER HERE. IF ANY ONE CAN HELP I WOULD APPRECIATE IT

jim if you have signlab or photoshop etc or any have decent sign package that allows plug-ins get “eye candy” this is what i use with signlab 5.
you can take any font that you have and turn it into hundreds of fantastic effects. then print and cut them on vinyl… for instance. take the word “signs” you can type it in in the font of your choice and make it look like water is running off it. or set the word in flames. or just apply 3 dimention to it. beveled edges shadows whatever.. even make the word look like “ice”. the package is only about £40 for older versions and about £80 for the very latest. the old one is enough it has loads of features.

    maybe save you a few pound…. 🙄 🙄 😀

    hi Rob,
Thanks for that advice, i have managed to down load the eyecandy 3.0 software, from a website (free). but i installed it in to corel dfraw 9 software in the plugins section, but it seems to only work bitmaps,
have i gone wrong some where or does it only work on bitmaps, or do i have to put it somne where else,

I have fast fonts and they are images also. You have to manually put the supplied cut lines around them and they are individual letters. It is a pain in the arse. Much better off with adobe plug ins.
