Fancy a "Tickle in the Trossachs?"
You are cordially invited to join us at the 2nd International Letterhead meet held in Bonnie Scotland “a Tickle in the Trossachs.” This meet will take place on the 11th ,12th & 13th May, 2006.. in Callander. The Trossachs is the surrounding area around the town, which is in the heart of the national park, and boasts some of the finest scenery you can find anywhere in the world. Our venue is the McLaren leisure centre, with all the amenities you would expect from a modern facility. We will have all the usual stuff from the panel jam tent to the big group projects, with every avenue in between filled with all the knowledge you can absorb from the many seminars that we have planned. These will cover all the subjects you want to know more about and they will be hosted by some of the leading exponents in that part of our wonderful profession.
We have chartered the steamship “SS Sir Walter Scott” for an evening cruise on the Friday. We will be collected from the venue at around 1600 hours and taken over the hills to loch Katrine. The ship will take us on a breathtaking two hour cruise up the loch. We will then be taken back to Callander, where we will round off the evening with some entertainment.
Saturday evening will round off the meet with a grand ceilidh in our host hotel, for which you will need your finest attire ,we will have a special deal from a highland outfitters for all the gents who wish to hire full highland dress and really enter into the spirit of the ceilidh.
