No more print and cut MD5A on vehicles. Will stick to normal MD5.

Third MD5A fail on glass in the last 24months. (Fail only on glass panel)

MD5A on van panel = immaculate condition after 2 years.

MD5A on glass panel = FAIL on the edge.

I don’t know if I’m doing anything wrong. Same cleaning. Same technique

    Oh Pane!
    Nice job tho :smiles:

Im thinking it might be those new-fangled self cleaning window glasses interfering with your adhesive?

I think glass can be problematic whatever film your using pane, mainly because of the conditions (temp, snow) they are sitting in. Like you i work in cold climates, only problems ive ever had have been on glass, normally rears with cut vinyl. The glass freezing, window wipers and even customers scraping (yes it has happened) the vinyl off in -20c have been an issue.

I have a strong feeling that MD5A adhesive is not as strong as MD5 regardless of what the sales person says.
