Hi, been struggling with this for a while and normally use the artwork to work around it but really could do with a solution!

When I use signlab to create fades going from a colour to white, there is always an obvious line where the ink stops, is there a better way of doing this or would I have more luck doing it from corel? You can often get around it by not going quite as far as white but the job I’m doing just now has a logo with a white box around out that is in the white section

    Argghhh… any suggestions appreciated.

I’ve found the best method in Corel is not to use the two colour fade and go from say black to white, but to use the custom fill where you can add extra steps or colours to the fade, and put an extra white point in close to the white end of the fade -this gives you the fade over most of the area, but a clear white area at the end.

Also, set the fountain steps to 999 rather than the standard as this gives a much smoother fade out.
