Hi i have to do rear panels for a friends scooter, he doesnt want them wrapped but he saw an image online of 1 done with squares fading from black to red, this is no problem at all but he wants a carbon fibre effect and a fade thru it, i cant get my head into gear today and all im thinking is as carbon is alot of small squares then how do you get a neat fade thru it, also his panels are black so his will need to be gunmetal fading to silver or something like that

thanks to anyone that can help on this
    John
