Went to fit the other 2 on Tuesday wind is blowing straight down the river ended up having to leave it to Wednesday morning. Signs are 9mtrs up, large signs are 5.5mts x 1.5mtrs & the smaller ones are 3mtrs x .85 all Ali Comp.

    Hi Lynn
McGrath have their own equipment on each of their sites, makes life a lot easier. Cost to hire this size kit is astronomical especially the transport charges. Have been looking to get a used unit of my own since completing my IPAF but never seem to get the time to look.

nice work kev, well done mate. looks higher than 9 metres?
did you use glass grips on this to hold the sheets? thats what i use and find it a dream when working in a cherry picker. one man can hold, rock and move the sheet with ease whilst the other fixes in place.
    im guessing tech screws used?

thanks for taking the time to post your work. 😀

    Hi Rob
no i use a modified hand held panel lift which i attach to the cherry picker this means no strain whilst maneuvering & aligning the panel for whoever is holding it. It could be higher that i stated never actually measured it just looked at the cladding panels & roughly worked out height, the cherry picker we had was more than capable to go a lot higher. Here is a couple of pics from up in the cherry picker one is the the barrier which works with the Thames barrier to stop Barking creek flooding during high tides the other is the view over Barking but mainly the yard we where working in.
