factory signage: gap group
from previous post you will know i was fitting LED’s in newcastle last week.
while i was there i popped down to middlesburgh to fit another sign. just a quickie, nothing special… basically its a panatrim fasica with aluminium panel, vinyl letters and a raised flat cut logo. this job was to replace an old sign they have had for years. (we never done it :D) the old sign was 3/4 inch plywood painted and then hand sign written, then bolted to the wall… made to last eh? been up there god knows how long…
i thought it was a bit weird taking down such an old version of basically the same sign. how things change indeed? our sign was only 10’x5′ i think but is part of an ongoing rebrand for this company covering the whole of the UK.(CLICK IMAGE TO ENLARGE)

marek, fingers much better thanks, but man-o-man does it hurt at times. if i lean over to pick something up pain shoots through it like nothing on earth. takes me a few minutes to recover every time :lol1:
the weirdest thing is i am just starting to hold things gently with it. Like holding vinyl as i apply… but its weird for such a small bit missing the vinyl just slips out my fingers due to the bit missing… very odd feeling… 😕 -
