    a pic of the foamex fabricated back box, which belongs to our shop sign

    theres two of these totalling 20′ in length which will carry the flourescant tubes and the panelling

    hi paul looks the part mate but why foamex for such a large box. wont it distort or buckle over the lentgh of it in hot weather…. why not use alluminium?

    Yes Paul why have you used foamex for the box ? I would have thought it would be cheaper in ally as well, dearer material but not as much time fabricating.
    I assume you are allowed to use foamex to fabricate lightboxes, are there no regulations stating that a lightbox must comform to class0, class1 or whatever ?
