fabricated letters: Manchester Evening News Arena
just thought id put the pic in, its a lowercase letter n from “Manchester Evening News Arena” which is situated above a train platform.
Once the sign was up there was no way to get to it for maintenance so we opted for F/O illumination.
The Cap height on these letters was 3000 mm, 180mm return depth, manufactured from 5mm acrylic with fitted foamex backs housing the fibre optics
Each letter used its own lighting unit, housed in a custom built enclosure on the roof of the building
