Our Junior Driving School here at the park has taken on a partnership with Volvo so I had to change out some signs. This one is some letters cut out of marine grade playground plastic. My boss ordered the material to try out for different projects. I routed them on our Gerber Dimension 200 router using a 1/4″ diameter 2 flute carbide router bit. We had our welder make a frame for them using some 1″ angle iron then our painters painted it “Technic” blue (Technic Coaster is one of the rides here and it’s blue). The roof behind the letters is blue so theoretically the frame should blend into the building to make them look like they are floating. My end of the job only took about 2 hours to set up the file and cut the letters. I helped my brother-in-law (guy on the roof) to install them this morning.

Nice work there, but Volvo and Driving…. isn’t that swearing in certain parts of the U.S. 🙄

Went looking at a Volvo once, had no sunroof… so I bit the bullet and hired a skip! 😕

    Cheers, Dewi
