I’m heading out to Las Vegas this weekend. That Blackjack table definately is getting me in the mood to play. Nice work Rodney, as always.

Rodney – how are the corner brackets attached on the perspex box?

Are they holding the box together or are the edges welded?

very nice work by the way

We used marine silicon (stuff they use for fish tanks) to “glue” the panels together , the bottom has laser cut and bent “corners” that are tensoled on the outsides , they hold the bottom to the sides, the top brackets are laser cut and bent to hold the top together.
The box can hold 40 kg (around 100 lbs) of water and ice and product.
The LED lamps are 12v AC – in case a tub does break or leak , there is no 220v anywhere
The Opal pex (that diffuses the LEDS) is just dropped into the tub.
The lighting base is made of melamine and is a open box , and the top of the base is laser cut black 5mm perspex with holes the leds press fit into screwed onto the box frame.
The whole tub sits atop the LEDS and lighting base , the LEDS HAVE to be directly under the edge of the 6mm clear pex we made the tub out of so the logo flouresces , so we make a frame that the tub sits into that locates it EXACTLY with respect to the LEDs on the base.
Selling price is about GBP 130 or so – the order should be at least 200 of these.
This was photographed in a quite well lit showroom , in a dim place like a club or a pub , it glows MUCH brighter.
The ice and water enhance the glow.

Rodney, to be honest. I suspect you could earn a few quid in the UK on that theme.
