I just wondered what others do when asked to quote a job that would be quite labour intensive. Do you go ahead and quote for it regardless of whether you have the manpower – and worry about how you are going to do the work if you get the job.

I have recently been asked to quote for a job that I’m unsure I could handle myself. Part of me says to turn the job down – the other half says quote for it and worry about how you’re going to do it if and when you get it

I’ll generally ring a few mates to see if they are interested in helping me, nothing concrete, just test the waters so to speak.

Then I’d quote on it anyway, and worry about the labour problem when the need arises.

Plenty here I’m sure would be happy to earn some beer money if you need a hand. Most mates will do anything for a few beers 😕
