Need to urgently quote someone for etched vinyl on 4 interior glass panels, the size that needs doing are 1000mm x 1000mm with a logo (fairly basic cut out on each one which is around 400mm), is a sub-contract job from a manufacturer to ourselves so could result in a lot more work. We need to supply and then install on site.

One of those jobs where my mind has just gone blank, I keep getting a figure of £180.00, does this sound about right?

    All comments appreciated.

    Thanks Ian.

is the job local to you?

have they stipulated an etch/vinyl type/brand?

are they providing the artwork on file ready to cut?

are they giving you the size or do they require a site visit/survey to get sizes etc?

how long do you see the installation taking you?

will you have a second person to aid you on install?

is this a high street cafe type job or a city centre offices type job?

has the install to be done within 9am-5pm hours or before or after?

sorry, just getting a feel for the work… so many variables that must be taken into consideration when being sub contracted.

    Hi Robert

The Job is 4 miles from our unit

Will be using Aslan Easy Apply standard etch vinyl 7 year

Logo provided as EPS but need to make cut file

Sizes have been provided and are accurate as on brand new internal partition that they have installed (obviously will advise if advised incorrectly is at their risk).

Time taken I am thinking 2 of us 1 hour to install

Property is a high end office new build.

Fitting between 9am and 5pm at our convenience although required to be done by Tuesday of next week.

    Thanks Ian.
