  • Error: Can not find Corel VBA Bar – Anyone seen this?

    Hi guys

    I use CorelX4 with my Graphtec CE5000-60 & Cutting Master 2.

This evening, went to cut a simple design and I get the error:

Can not find Corel VBA Bar

I restarted the PC – no joy
I uninstalled and reinstalled X4 & Cutting Master 2 – still the same error!
I did a sytem resore to a date when I know it was working – No joy!!

I’m sort of getting to the point where I might do a complete re-installation of WindowsXP – drastic I know but I’ve run out of ideas.

Anyone got any ideas before I go for it? 🙂

    Cheers

    John

Just done a google for it and it seems to point at a problem with a corel plugin – have you tried reinstalling/updating the plug in at all?

    Hi Andy,

I guess the only plugin have installed is Graphtec’s PrintMaster 2. I have no other plugins installed.

I removed Cutting Master 2 & CorelDraw, rebooted and the reinstalled CorelDraw followed by Cutting Master 2 and still received the same error message when trying to cut!

All very strange as it has been working just fine & no other software installed.

I did a Google for the error but didn’t find a lot of info – typical, seems a rare one 🙁

    Thanks

    John

I’ve not come across this one but I would start with a F8 restart of Draw and accept the factory defaults.
There should also be a cutplot.gms file in the gmd folder of Draw.

Cuttting master 2 uses "Rocket" to launch as an Addon… not really VBA.

The registration marks is VBA I think tho.

I saw your post elsewhere on Corel Forums, but from my experience I will struggle to help you on this one. F8 reset did that fail? Not sure it will help tho

    Thanks guys

Not tried F8 yet but will when I get home this evening.

Strange how it’s been working fine for months and then all of a sudden throws a wobbly.

    Will keep you posted.
