    Hi
Can anyone recomend a software package that can read and convert eps files to dxf files. I have a client that can send a dxf file but he insists on using eps. This is driving me nuts as my software does not read eps so have to go to his place of work which is local thank god and send the files myself.

    Hi Neil
Thanks for the offer and info. This client is a regular but i don’t have work at the minute from him. I just wanted to check some software out before the next episode. If i don’t get sorted for the next lot of work i will give you a shout if that’s Ok Thank you.

You can pick up an old version of Corel Draw very cheaply, you can convert EPS to DXF in that.

    Hi Brian

Thanks i will check Signlab and Corel out in the morning. The simple solution is to teach my client how to use his own software but it’s one of those the old dog does not want to learn new tricks. It’s only a matter of saving his files in dxf instead of eps but he won’t be moved EPS rules in his book. Thanks again.

Myself and others would be very keen to sell you Signlab, but as the cheapest package that will export is £625 I think you will be wasting your time even checking it out!

You should be able to get a version of Corel for around £100, still teaching your customer how to use his own software sounds the best option 🙂
