I can’t wait to see what sort of replies this post gets Paul!

What I mean is that most signmakers have enough trouble getting their english spelling right 😛

I live in the sticks and there are virtually no ethnic communities here, otherwise I’d pop round to one of ‘um and ask….

    more soon

is normaly my first port of call, but those langs are beyond it… for single words you could try
    http://www.yourdictionary.com/diction1.html
as a simple online word converter…
if you want to pay for a translation you could try
    http://www.wordzone.com/
but I’ve never used it so I can’t say how good they are, just came across them.

as with all automated language tools, you’ll probably get a very rought translation, I mean think about it, M$ Word can’t even correct you grammer in english, so the odds of any program correctly translating something to another language is pretty slim at best <G>. bablefish I knew about already the rest were just plucked out of the first few entrys that http://www.google.com came up with, if these don’t help give it a try, I’ve got a demo of some translation software, but it’s limited to one lang, and I think it’s mostly european in the full version anyway, I’ll dig it out and see who makes it, and see if they make anything that’d help you.

best thing to do would be to ask the people your making the sign for, after all they’re probably going to be able to read/write in the lang they need right? and always check that you’ve got the thing translated correctly with them if you get it done somewhere else, after all if you don’t read the lang they could give you anything!!!
