I bought the part and a service manual and did it myself- if you are confident with a screwdriver and have a morning to spare then tis easy enough.

PS can’t remember where we got our service manual from and I don’t have it any more but definately a worthwhile investment if you can get one

Changing the head is relatively easy if you’re handy with a screwdriver – but… it need to be set up correctly. This involves installing software settings for your particular head. If you simply change the head without updating these settings the print quality will not be all it can be. I reccommend you get an engineer to do this for you properly

    Thanks for the replies.

Have read past threads on the PC 60 aware some people have changed the head themselves and job done others run into problems.

Would change it myself if its just a few screws, set voltage and load software and bobs your uncle. Could probably get service manual from Printone. But if more complicated would sooner pay engineer (if i can find a good one) and not loose time messing about.
