    Hiya

Does anyone know if you have to get permission to use the ‘Energy Efficiency’ logo on signs?
I have been asked to produce some Environmental Issue signs and the customer has requested that we use the official logo.

Has anyone else produced any signs with this logo on….if so, did you contact the company etc.

    Cheers

In the Americas we have Energy Star, a government agency. I’m not sure how it applies to countries in the EU. It might be good to e-mail them and ask. They have a pdf of guidelines for logo use.

I’m not sure which logo you want to use though. Do you have an example? It might help get you better advice.

    Hiya Simon

Thanks for your response……I think you are right it might be worth ringing them direct to see what the guidelines are for using their logo.

Just for reference…..the logo which I have been asked to produce can be found on the link below, this logo would go on various sticker which will have environmental statements like….switching your computer off as night will save etc etc.
