• Enamel Mugs

    Hi All

I’ve got a customer who has got a quantity of the ‘old’ style enamel mugs – you know the type that you’d take when in the boy scouts/girl guides and went camping………….

He wants to put a decal on them. It would have to be a hard wearing decal as some mugs will be used – tea, coffee etc. mug washed, used again – some will just go on display.

What would be the best way of doing this. Would screen printing be the way to go……or does any body else know better. Please let me know.

    Regards
    Lee

    Hi Lee,

I asked this question to a subli supplier last year. They could coat them for you, but if they are the same as the ones I had the rolled lip at the top could cause problems.

I would think pad printing would be the way to go.
