  • Emailing a flyer , advice needed?

Posted by Denise Goodfellow on May 5, 2011 at 7:36 pm

    Hi Everyone

We get loads of emailed flyers from suppliers etc. They look alot better than just typed text.

I want to email our clients our flyer, but haven`t a clue.

Is it just the case of designing one, saving it as a j peg, then installing it in the body of the email, rather than the usual typed text?

    What size should it be?
    what dpi?

    Any rules or guide lines

    Thanks xx

    lots of rules denise…

for one, Images are blocked by default by many hosts like Google.
it takes the email to come in, then the "allow images now or always" button to be clicked.

if you do not have a huge mailing list, companies like Constant Contact are good to use. professional layouts and templates available. lots of marketing and advice help and tips too. small fee attached of course but considering its taking care of your online emailing campaigns its not what i would deem as expensive.

i think you have a trial period too… worth considering.

    best of luck.
